A Wisconsin man killed two coworkers at a supermarket distribution warehouse and then died by suicide after a police pursuit and vehicle crash, numerous sources reported Wednesday.
The 42-year-old suspect reportedly worked at Roundy’s distribution center in Oconomowoc. The shooting occurred Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m. inside the facility, according to WISN. When officers arrived at the facility, they found two people “pulseless and not breathing,” according to WKOW. First responders reportedly performed life-saving measures on both victims, but the men were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the three men were unclear. Thomas Bennett, secretary-treasurer of General Teamsters Local Union No. 200, told WISN all three men were in their 40s.
Oconomowoc police reportedly said the suspect’s vehicle was spotted in Milwaukee after the attack, located 30 miles west of Oconomowoc. Once police identified it, they began to pursue the vehicle.
The car chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Associated Press reported. A neighbor said he witnessed the suspect shoot himself as police surrounded him, WISN reporter Hillary Mintz said on Twitter.

Bennett said he was unaware of any disputes between the shooting suspect and the victims. All three men were members of the union, according to WISN.
“All three of these workers were very important during this pandemic because they worked very hard to serve our community,” Bennett told the AP. “Maybe things wear on you after a while.”
The facility was locked down for the ongoing investigation and police advised motorists to avoid the area.
Oconomowoc PD says there is no current threat to the public. Still waiting on updated information on the “tactical situation” at the Roundy’s Distribution Center.

Roundy’s issued a statement offering counseling services to associates.
“We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred last night at our Oconomowoc distribution center,” the statement said, according to WKOW. “The entire Roundy’s family offers our thoughts, prayers, and support to the families of our colleagues during this difficult time.”
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation are investigating the incident, WKOW reported.
