The Jacksonville Jaguars reportedly will sign Tim Tebow to a small deal.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are expected to sign Tebow to a one-year deal at some point in the coming days to play tight end. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Financial details aren’t known right now, but you can bet that it’ll be for league minimum or close to it.
The #Jaguars are planning to sign QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, per me and @TomPelissero, a deal that could be official in the next week or so. Nothing done yet. But he’ll have a chance to make the team to reunite with his mentor and college head coach Urban Meyer.

Well, this situation has rapidly changed over the course of the past couple hours. Just earlier today, Peter King wrote it “could happen.” It didn’t take long at all for the situation to go from being possible to reportedly being a done deal.
Now, Tebow will finally get another shot at the NFL. Given his massive following in Florida, this is going to be a huge win for the Jaguars from a PR standpoint.
Update on a former first-round pick: Tim Tebow recently worked out for the #Jaguars, source said, and there has been at least some discussion of him signing. Oh, and he’s a tight end now.

I can’t wait to see how much gas he has left in the tank and what he looks like as a tight end. Something tells me it’s going to be pretty epic to watch unfold.
For years, Tim Tebow resisted a shift to tight end. Now at 33 years old, Tebow could return to his hometown team. https://t.co/LuZRijFJfN
