Cara Delevingne said she was caught off guard when she was told to take her underwear off while filming her docuseries “Planet Sex.”

The famous model spoke at TV market Mipcom in Cannes, France, on Tuesday, telling interviewer Emma Cox that the experiences she dove into while filming the show made her realize she was more of a prude than she thought, according to Variety.

“I went into the masturbation seminar thinking it was going to be a classroom and I’d have a notepad, and instead it was a pink, leather gym mat on the floor, with six people going, ‘Well, take your underwear off. This is the lube,'” Delevingne said, according to Variety.

“I didn’t realize I was a prude. I think I’m a pretty hip, young, cool, down-with-anything kind of girl but I was like, ‘Sorry what? Sorry, no, absolutely not, I will not do that,'” she said.

Delevingne admitted she wasn’t initially at ease with the situation, though she said she ultimately “kind of did everything I felt comfortable doing.”

Eventually, she became more confident expressing her sexuality and became less hesitant about taking part in the sexually-oriented activities. Later on in the filming process, she said, “I was more like, ‘What are we doing today?'”

“Because every day was completely different. I’m used to being a chameleon but this was absurd,” Delevingne added, according to Variety. (RELATED: California Superintendent Attempts To Justify Student Masturbating In Class)

She went on to explain the wild ride that was the process of filming “Planet Sex.”

“One day you’re going to get your blood taken while having an orgasm, the next day you’re going to a porn library. I was like, ‘Right, okay, screw my head back on,'” she said.

The show was filmed during the pandemic, and Delevingne admitted that the personal nature of the project that really resonated with her during a difficult time.

“I feel like I needed this in my life, honestly,” Delevingne said, according to Variety.

“I had chosen to take a step back from love and relationships for a while before I did this, and this made me realize again how much I needed to repair certain things in my life and move on from that. I really grew up a lot,” she added.
