Megan Fox clapped back at the Instagram haters Friday with a message in the caption of her artificial intelligence (AI)-generated photographs.

The 36-year-old shared a series of animated photographs of herself in various hairstyles and bold looks. The photos revealed cleavage, and Fox appeared to be nude in some of the animated images, prompting comments from critics saying Fox was oversexualizing herself.

“Were everyone’s avatars equally as sexual?” Fox wrote in her caption, apparently addressing the haters. “Like, why are most of mine naked??” She continued in a seemingly sarcastic tone.

Fox apparently participated in the AI-generated art trend that has taken the internet by storm. The trend creates animated avatars that look like highly edited, cartoonish images of people’s faces. Fox’s Instagram post seemed to present a challenge to her fans, asking them to compare her animated avatars to others’ to see if she’s really over-sexualizing herself in this instance.

Fox has proven she’s not shy about posting pictures of herself in various stages of undress. Some of her past red carpet looks have been risqué, and she’s no stranger to laying on the PDA with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. But some fans have accused Fox of showing too much, too often, and Fox seemed ready to call them out on Instagram. (RELATED:‘Get Me Pregnant’: Megan Fox Posts Love Note For Machine Gun Kelly)

“*Sexualizes self all the time literally,*” one user commented. Fox replied by writing, “Sigh. I was being sarcastic. How can everyone think I actually lack this level of self-awareness?”

Others were less critical of Fox and complimented her on her beauty, both as an avatar and in real life.
