Police reportedly arrested Blueface on robbery charges Wednesday while the rapper was in appearing in court for a completely unrelated charge.
Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, originally appeared in court for a preliminary hearing related to attempted murder charges when police took him into custody for his role in an alleged robbery, according to TMZ. The rapper’s attorneys, Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld, said they were completely unaware of the specifics behind the new arrest, TMZ reported.

Blueface’s new felony charge is reportedly linked to a robbery that took place in Las Vegas. No further information was provided about the robbery case.
At the time of the robbery arrest, the artist was out on bail in relation to the murder case. The police said the alleged robbery was a direct violation of the terms of Porter’s bail, according to TMZ.
Blueface was arrested on the attempted murder charge in November after prosecutors claimed he discharged a firearm into a “house, building, vehicle or craft,” TMZ reported. (RELATED: REPORT: Takeoff’s Alleged Killer Officially Charged With Murder In Texas)
