Jada Pinkett Smith spent several weeks teasing her memoir with a series of interviews, and now that the book is out, fans have made it clear they simply don’t care.

“Worthy” is clearly unworthy.

The former “Red Table Talk” host and estranged wife of Will Smith shared so much dirt and dragged Will’s name so much that fans now seem to be over her altogether. Her book has proven to be an epic fail since its Tuesday release, failing to top many prominent charts for long and, embarrassingly, not even breaking the top #100 on the Barnes and Noble bestsellers list at the time of writing. Meanwhile, Britney Spears and John Stamos, who released their books on the very same day, have both fared better on Amazon, with Spears’ memoir topping the charts.

Stamos and Spears were also engaged in heavy promotion of their memoirs, yet despite dishing their dirt in the press and revealing some of the juiciest secrets found within the pages, they still seem to be having great sales.

Pinkett Smith came forward in advance of the release of her book to tell fans she and Smith had actually separated from one another in 2016 and haven’t been living together since. She overshared by telling the world she wasn’t even Smith’s “wife” when he yelled “keep my wife’s fucking name out your mouth” as he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars in March 2022. Judging by the response of her fans, it seems clear nobody cares about their dysfunctional marriage, or lack thereof.

Pinkett Smith made a spectacle of her family the moment she discussed her “entanglement” with August Alsina. She’s aired her dirty laundry so much that nobody cares how bad it stinks anymore.

The book flopped. Her show was canceled. And she might want to embrace it to prevent further embarrassment.
