Rapper French Montana Got A Zebra For His Birthday

Rapper French Montana has revealed to fans that he was gifted a live zebra for his birthday.

The artist, whose birthday was in July, proudly displayed the wild animal alongside another exotic surprise in a video shot by Daily Loud and posted to their Twitter account on Sunday. French Montana — whose real name is Karim Kharbouch — smiled from ear to hear as he led the cameraman to the animal, and provided a proper introduction.

“I can’t tell you who gave me this gift, but that’s the gift I got for my birthday,” Montana said, as a medium-sized zebra stared back.

The animal appeared to be in a small, caged-in area, and took its time sauntering toward Kharbouch and the film crew. It walked right up, giving fans a good look at its stunning stripes.

“That’s the gift I got for my birthday… welcome to America,” French Montana boasted.

He seemed thrilled to be sharing this update with the world and walked a bit further, past the zebra, to show fans one more thing.

“Hey come here,” he said, as he led the camera toward another special gift that he had received.

“What else we got?” the cameraman asked.

The camera then panned to the left, revealing a camel that looked directly into the lens.

There’s no word on when the creatures were delivered to the famous singer, or who gifted the zebra to him. Fan-posted videos on Twitter show rapper and producer Swizz Beatz gifting Montana the camel for his birthday. Footage shows Montana attempting to pet the animal until someone shouts, “What if it spits?” at which point he quickly retracts his hand.

The video of the zebra has already received nearly half a million views.
