First responders rushed actress Blythe Danner to a local East Hampton, New York, hospital in an ambulance July 13, a source told People Magazine.

Danner, mother of actress Gwyneth Paltrow, was attending the Springs Food Pantry’s E.A.T. in the Hidden Gardens 2024 event, when she suddenly appeared ill, People reported. Paltrow’s representative said she was “completely fine,” and Danner’s own camp said she was “absolutely ok,” but the 81-year-old actress was still taken to the hospital, according to People.

“It was early on in the event, and she sat there for a while as they took her vitals,” Danner’s rep told the outlet. “It didn’t look that bad, but they took her away anyway.”
