Police reportedly arrested multiple people as part of the investigation into actor Matthew Perry’s death.
Police arrested two California doctors and a reputed drug dealer known as the “ketamine queen,” according to NBC News. An alleged narcotics distributor and Mathew Perry’s live-in personal assistant were also reportedly charged Thursday in a connection with the actor’s accidental overdose death.
Sources close to the situation, according to TMZ, said multiple law enforcement agencies executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic equipment. Authorities want to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that caused his fatal drowning, Oct. 28, 2023, at the age of 54. The insider said several arrests have already been made, including at least one doctor, according to TMZ.

Jasveen Sangha, a North Hollywood resident, allegedly provided Perry’s assistant with the ketamine that ultimately led to the actor’s death, according to NBC News.
Kenneth Iwamasa allegedly injected Perry with the drug on the day he died, according to the indictment unsealed by NBC News.
The syringe was provided by Salvador Plasencia, a doctor who also allegedly distributed ketamine to Perry’s assistant, as well as Perry on other occasions.
Authorities recovered text messages as part of the search warrant and the communications allegedly showed a discussion about the type of ketamine Perry wanted, as well as details surrounding what price Perry would be paying for the drug. Law enforcement officials said the ketamine that Perry ingested was not prescribed legally, according to TMZ.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Postal Service and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) have been conducting a criminal investigation for months to establish the facts surrounding the untimely death of the “Friends” actor.

Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy to treat his anxiety and depression, but his latest session took place at least a week and a half before his passing, so it was determined that the ketamine that came up as part of his toxicology report was not prescribed legally. The famous actor was found dead in his hot tub and had the same level of ketamine in his system that is used for general anesthesia in surgery, according to TMZ.

Authorities reportedly executed search warrants on Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex, who had been in a treatment center with Perry. Sources close to the situation did not believe she was among those that were arrested at this time.
