Buffalo Bills’ Trainwreck Continues As Team Is Forced To Sign Anthony Brown After Mitchell Trubisky Injury: REPORT

When it comes to training camp and the preseason, the main goal for NFL teams is to just make it through the process without tallying too many injuries. But we all know how football goes, seeing players getting banged up is inevitable.

In their last preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Buffalo Bills continued their streak of bad luck, this time in the form of an injury. Mitchell Trubisky, a backup quarterback for Josh Allen, ended up hurting his knee. As a result, the Bills are going to need a replacement for Trubisky, so who do they sign?

“Who?”

Yeah, exactly, but the Bills made the move by inking him Monday, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Throughout his career, Brown has only played in two NFL contests, with both being with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. He managed to get a few snaps Aug. 10 when the Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings squared off, but as you see, he’s now in Buffalo.

I get that the regular season is right around the corner, and I understand that the Bills got thrown off by an injury, but why the hell did they choose Anthony Brown to put their trust into in terms of being a backup?

Granted, I might be overblowing this, but you’ve gotta agree that it’s very telling of a Buffalo franchise that’s been crumbling ever since they lost superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
