Miami police released bodycam footage of Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s detainment Sunday.
The Dolphins issued a statement Monday commending the Miami-Dade Police Department for releasing the footage quickly, but they also urged swift action against the officers who acted in a “despicable” way, according to FOX35.
Footage shows officers pull over Hill’s McLaren. One officer then walks up to the driver’s side of Hill’s car and knocks on the window. Hill opens the window and says, “Hey, don’t knock on my window like that.” (RELATED: Police Detain NFL Star Ahed Of Dolphins’ Opening Game)

The officer asks Hill why he doesn’t have his seatbelt on. Hill keeps saying, “Don’t knock on my window like that.”
The officer responds, “Why do you have it up?”
Hill then tells the officer to give him a ticket because he’s going to be late for the Dolphins’ opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars before putting the window up again.
The officer tells Hill to keep his window down, or “I’m going to get you out of the car.”
When Hill refuses to put the window down, the officer says, “We’re not playing this game” and forcibly removes him.
Footage then shows the officer pull Hill out of the car while two others help him wrestle him to the ground.
Hill appears to then call his agent Drew Rosenhaus to say, “I’m getting arrested, Drew.”
One officer tells the star receiver, “When we tell you to do something, you do it, not what you want but when we tell you. You’re a little fucking confused.”
As he’s sitting on the side of the road detained, Hill appears to tell the cops, “I’m just being a black man in America in a nice car.”
One of the cops responds, “We’re dark too, brother. We’re people of color, too. Don’t play like that’s special.”
Eventually Hill got off with a traffic ticket and left the scene with Rosenhaus, who drove Hill’s McLaren, FOX35 reported.
After being detained, Hill caught 7 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ win against the Jaguars, according to Statmuse.
