Some may argue that Gilbert Arenas has been shamed enough with his season-long suspension for bringing guns into the Washington Wizards locker room, but the team is reportedly still considering the idea of voiding the rest of the massive contract of Arenas, according to the Associated Press.
This whole incident kind of screws up plenty of things for the team in the short- and long-term and it would be best for the Wizards if they could just jettison him. Team president Ernie Grunfeld is supposedly putting a lot of consideration into it. He’ll likely wait to see what happens on March 26 when Arenas will have a court appearance related to his felony gun charge.
