Oscar rivalry will reach new levels this year as exes and couples compete for the prize. Kathryn Bigelow, director of “The Hurt Locker,” won a nomination for Best Director.
Her ex husband James Cameron, a previous best director Oscar winner for “Titanic,” is also a directing nominee for his film “Avatar.”
Couples, including Neill Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell, also received nominations.
