Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet’s marriage hit an iceberg Monday.
“She felt bored,” a friend of the couple told the Daily News. “When Sam isn’t working, he’d just as soon stay home. Kate loves going out. … She was the one pushing for the divorce.”
The tipping point was when Mendes directed Winslet in “Revolutionary Road,” the 2008 movie that reunited her with her “Titanic” co-star Leonardo DiCaprio – and featured a steamy nude scene, the friend said.
At the time, Winslet told The News she never got the sense of “Sam feeling awkward.”
