Attention AT&T customers: The company wants you to give up monthly paper bills. Oh, and buy its new vampire-killing phone charger, too.
Dallas-based AT&T said its latest “green” initiatives will sharply reduce paper waste and energy costs — not to mention save the nation’s second largest phone company a little money.
AT&T on Wednesday also announced what it calls the world’s first “zero draw” wireless-phone charger. In industry lingo, these electronic devices are known as “vampires” since they suck continuously on electricity.
