Father told to pay protesters’ court costs

An appeals court ruled a Pennsylvania man must pay court costs in his lawsuit against church protesters who picketed the funeral of his son who died in Iraq.

Attorneys for Al Snyder said the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered him to pay more than $16,000 in court costs for the Westboro Baptist Church, the Topeka, Kan., church that maintains combat deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan are divine retribution for America’s tolerance of homosexuality, WGAL-TV, Lancaster, Pa., reported Tuesday.

It’s a beautiful thing to see the right and the left come together against these maggots! At least on this site anyway

These douchebags post wherever they are going, so all you have to do as a municipality is make them get a permit and lose the paperwork.

This sort of publicity is not good, because someone is going to beat these people at the very least (not that I think that would be a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination) and maybe worse.

  • hurtzallot

I hope most all people are as sickened by the protesters actions and beliefs as I am Mr. Snyder. Not personally knowing your son I know the majority of servicemen fight daily to protect the protesters rights to publicly protest and exhibit their disdain, no matter how much we may disagree. God Bless you and your son for the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we far too often take for granted. Thank You sir.

Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Coast Guardsmen protect our Freedom of Speech. Ain’t that something? These disgusting people wish harm on the very same heroes that provide them voice with which they use to critize them.

Why can these people invoke violence with out repercussion while talking heads are grilled for their words?

There are groups that provide space to protect the mourning from these dogs. But they are not without emotion, most have served and sacrificed much and there will be violence…the emotion is intense.

Take note on how people can be so easily indoctrinated by one person to do the most insane things. Some of these folks have gone as far as to bring their children in on this. This is like some Jim Jones, Charles Manson thing all twisted together causing to walk in lock step like this. The posters are pure hate.

Hey big, …”by one person to do the most insane things.” You forgot Obama. Just sayin’.

The comparison you made speaks to the obvious reason for your screen name.

Leave it to you scrop-O-bama to find a way to support this sort of hate crime…Maybe you and your family have your own “Hate the Soldier” signs.

        • theneighborhoodguy

don’t be hatin’ on BIG scrotumboy. He’s one of the few of us that still converse with you…although I sense a growing weariness with your bitterness…or is it just me?
