‘Murderabilia’ become hot auction items

Artwork and documents linked to notorious U.S. killings — called “murderabilia” — have found a new market with online sellers and auctioneers, officials say.

An Ohio man wants to auction off a list of jury pool members from a Florida case that drew national attention as the “Vampire Cult Killings,” the Orlando Sentinel reported Sunday.

“It’s a rare item,” Joe Hiles, a murderabilia collector who followed the case, said. “You don’t see something like that.”
