I asked President Clinton Wednesday if he is frustrated or disappointed with the current dismal state of Middle East peace talks, after his speech at the Peterson Foundation fiscal summit.

Clinton, who stayed in the room after his speech for more than 10 minutes to talk with people in the audience, laughed and said the administration is “working hard on that and anything I say will make it worse.”

“I don’t want to say anything right now,” he said.

But he couldn’t help a tiny bit of analysis.

“I think they will try to get it back on track and I think it will get back on track,” Clinton said.
