President Obama looking to kick some ass over BP Gulf oil spill

Woah. It’s a little different from the days when President Truman said, “The buck stops here.”

In an interview for the NBC Today Show airing Tuesday, the President defended his administration’s response to the BP Gulf oil spill, saying he’s spent time talking with experts in order to size up his steel-toed boot.

“I was down there a month ago, before most of these talking-heads were even paying attention to the Gulf. A month ago I was meeting with fishermen down there, standing in the rain talking about what a potential crisis this could be. And I don’t sit around just  talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talked to these folks because they potentially have the best answers so I know whose ass to kick.”
