Ted Kennedy FBI file reveals threats

NEW YORK – After the violent deaths of his brothers, the youngest Kennedy, Teddy, lived under constant threat that he too would meet an assassin’s bullet. As he put it bluntly, “They’re going to shoot my ass off the way they shot off Bobby’s.”

We are learning more about these threats, as the FBI has released 2,352 pages from its file on the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy.

The new file is dominated by investigations of threats against Ted Kennedy, who died Aug. 25 at age 77. “These threats originated from multiple sources, including individuals, anonymous persons, and members of radical groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, ‘Minutemen’; organizations, and the National Socialist White People’s Party,” the FBI said. “The file also contains threats from individuals angered by Kennedy’s stance on politics in Northern Ireland and allegations of an alleged Mafia plot to kill President Kennedy and Senators Robert and Edward Kennedy.”

    FBI investigates Kennedy ties to Communists. Why does “the Daily Caller” constantly headline their stories with mis-leading titles. This article detailed the death threats faced by Senator Kennedy over the years. His ties to Communists–not so much. Maybe that’s one reason you have a paltry 5800 fans on facebook. Come on, Tucker, you can do better than this.

    Whenever a family loses a member of it’s family, there is saddness… I send my sympathy to those family members.

    I did NOT rejoice when Ted died, though I rejoiced when he left congress. I’m terribly sorry it was due to death – but, glad none-the-less.

    He was one of the founding fathers of the SWAMP we now see in Congress. A drunk, a coward – if not murderer – and an elitist to the highest power….

    As we fight to regain the foundation of our republic, it will ultimately prove helpful to find out how/when/why these “few” were able corrupt the process – Let’s not repeat the last 50 years of bleeding-heart, liberal, progressives and the mayhem their folly has produced in this country today.
