Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D) will host a new show on CNN, the network announced Wednesday.
Spitzer, who has been appearing periodically on MSNBC and writing for Slate.com, will co-host with conservative columnist Kathleen Partker (sic). The show will air in the 8 p.m. ET time slot on weeknights, but has yet to be given a name.
They’ll be talking about news from across the globe, presumably, so how about: Around the World.
Or, hmmm… Well, the idea is a liberal vs. a “conservative,” one of each, so maybe: Half and Half.
Considering they’ll both be manipulating the facts to their own advantage, it could be called: The Massage Parlor.
Get it? Because he likes hookers.
P.S. Hey, CNN: If you’re looking to fill the 9 o’clock hour too, you should talk to this guy.
P.P.S. Cuffy Meigs in the comments: 69 Minutes.
P.P.P.S. From Parker’s statement: “With Eliot Spitzer as my co-host, Wall Street and Main Street will finally meet. It can’t possibly be boring.” Considering how much traveling they’ll be doing between the two locales, how about calling the show Streetwalkers?
