Santelli and Dobbs talk Tea Party power

So what exactly is the real message of the Tea Parties? And how large an impact will they have on the upcoming elections? These are just a couple of the questions I posed to my old friends Rick Santelli and Lou Dobbs on last night’s Kudlow Report.

Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC a little over a year ago helped launch the whole Tea Party movement. We also welcomed David Webb. David is a big tea party player and is the co-founder of TeaParty365. I guess you could call it a tea party trifecta.

    To all the Hucksterwannabees…For some reason, the Republicans seem to believe the Tea Party is an affirmation of the weasly soft underbelly they have projected throughout the Bush years. Wrong!
    The Tea party is in RESPONSE to the LACK of values represented by BOTH parties, and I as a Tea Party member will not vote Republican simply to dump Dems. The lesser of two evils isn’t an option I will support. If the Republicans want to move towards the Libertarian values of small Government, ending the drug war, protecting our borders, and implementing the fairtax/eliminating the IRS..I’ll support them, However, if their attitude is akin to Mike Hucksterwannabee’s republicanism, then simply….you will lose AGAIN, and the Tea party will move even closer to establishing it’s own party and candidates.
    In other words Republicans….move closer to us, as we’re not moving.
