USDA worker says White House forced her to quit

WASHINGTON — A black employee who resigned from the Agriculture Department over racially charged comments at a Georgia NAACP meeting says her remarks are being intentionally misconstrued by conservative groups stoking racial tensions.

Shirley Sherrod says she was forced to step down by the White House even though her comments, in which she says she withheld support for a farmer because he was white, were really part of a story of racial reconciliation. In an interview, Sherrod said the White House’s wishes were relayed by an Agriculture Department undersecretary.

The incident occurred some 24 years ago when she worked for a nonprofit aid group.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said in a statement Tuesday that the department has no tolerance for discrimination and he accepted her resignation.

    “…forced to step down”.

Funny. This type of thing would never happened under a Republican administration.

Yeah, so? It is not like we Cracka’s needed any proof that there is cruel racism on the side of blacks in this society, it is rampant.

Having video proof is priceless. We have made, (we being the crackas) an honest effort to balance life, in every aspect for the sake of being equal. Yes, there are idiots on both sides, to be expected…but when the NAACP doesn’t respond to The New Black Panther Group and their racist rantings, it is evident that the blacks in the U.S. are far more racist than whites, oops, I mean crackas.

Now that this woman has come out with her racist rant, to which she felt prett comfortable sharing with all of her black friends at an NAACP meeting, the NAACP NOW wants to come out and call for her resignation and want to act appalled by her behavior.

Now come on….which is it guys?? You are being very bi-polar with your reactions. One minute you could care less, the next you are appalled. I think that you, as a group called the NAACP, are no longer relevant in this country.

Your disparaging charges of racism toward non-racist groups who are only trying to better this nation, are dispicable and won’t easily be forgotten.

Just because a group gets together to protest what one man is doing, doesn’t make THEM a racist! If that were a fact, then every time I went against any other president that we have ever had, I would be considered someone who hates WHITES.

It just doesn’t work in this format and it is clearly a charge that is being tossed around trying to influence the opinions of other people, in a negative way to either gather more votes or to demonize someone for your own benefit.

The obvious contradictions are going to be your undoing. If I, a relatively regular type of a folk can see through your antics, then really, it is time for someone to grow up, man up and stop with the devious behavior.

Not everything has to be a Chess Game type of a move. Let’s try being honest for a change….yeah, right…
