President Obama is looking to throw a life preserver to farmers in Arkansas and elsewhere with an administrative action worth $1.5 billion.

The action will help one of the Democrats’ most vulnerable Senate incumbents.

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has promised endangered Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D) of Arkansas that the administration will help farmers in her state stay in business.

Emanuel called Lincoln on Thursday morning to tell her the administration would find $1.5 billion within its budget to help farmers in Arkansas and around the country who are coping with natural disasters.

  1. Who provided the 1.5 billion to the Government to give to Arkansas? Could it be that the our government is using our money to sway elections. ;~)

“They’ll find 1.5 billion”? Seriously, “find it”?. Call it what it is. They are stealing this money from us with out of control spending/debt and taxation and playing their power games using my hard earned money. Money I need for my family, not their political games. This is disgusting and lacking any sign of moral integrity. “Find it” my arse! People in Arkansas need to stand up and refuse this buy off, like the good folks in Nebraska did.

Hmmm… Folks in Nashville didn’t matter. Folks in the Gulf didn’t matter…

    Arkansas, that matters…
