A duet between singer Katy Perry and Elmo has been pulled from the Sesame Street television show after viewers complained that Perry’s outfit was too raunchy for a childrens’ programme.
The pair performed a child-friendly version of Perry’s 2009 hit Hot N Cold, which was due to be broadcast on New Year’s Eve.
But producers have decided that the clip will not go to air after parents said Perry, who was wearing a low-cut lime-green outfit that shows off her cleavage, was dressed inappropriately, according to US website TMZ.com.
