Democrats’ strategy: Start slinging

WASHINGTON — Democratic candidates across the country are opening a fierce offensive of negative advertisements against Republicans, using lawsuits, tax filings, reports from the Better Business Bureau and even divorce proceedings to try to discredit their opponents and save their congressional majority.

Opposition research and attack advertising are deployed in almost every election, but these biting ads are coming far earlier than ever before, according to party strategists. The campaign has intensified in the past two weeks as early voting begins in several states and as vulnerable incumbents try to fight off an onslaught of influences by outside groups.

As they struggle to break through with economic messages, many Democrats are deploying the fruits of a yearlong investigation into the business and personal histories of Republican candidates in an effort to plant doubts about them and avoid having races become a national referendum on the performance of President Obama and his party.

Charlie Rangel, Maxine Waters, and Eddie Bernice Johnson will employ a special version of this strategy; in which the mud slinger makes the claim he or she is his or her own opponent.

This is precisely what happens when you can not run on your record and get elected. Send this evil and corrupt group packing!

…start slinging? When were they NOT?

This is what happens and I’m always amazed that liberals are willing to do anything to sustain their political power. Nothing is out of bounds and the ends are the only means worthy of consideration. Then they get in power and tell the rest of us that – when it comes to our lives – the journey is important and if we fail that’s okay, because it gives them a reason to continue victimizing the fools that believe them. I’d feel sorry for liberals, but when you drink the liberal kook aid, you pretty much know you are swallowing self-inflicted hell anyway.

They can “launch” anything they want. All anyone has to do is think about what these politicians have done for the last two years. They voted for a bill they didn’t even know what’s in it. They spent, spent, spent! In November they will be history!!!

Sadly the hard part is getting people to really think for themselves.

It’s SO much easier to blindly follow.
