I am now convinced global warming is real and the planet will die if I don’t cut my carbon emissions

All it took was watching this brief, informative public service announcement:

Wait, did I say this convinced me of anything? I meant to say it’s a witless, horrifying travesty.

The 10:10 campaign has apologized, but it’s too late. As James Delingpole notes: “With No Pressure, the environmental movement has revealed the snarling, wicked, homicidal misanthropy beneath its cloak of gentle, bunny-hugging righteousness.”

Something like 100 people participated in making this thing. Not one of them thought it might be a bad idea. That says it all.

P.S. As usual, David Burge has expressed what I’m thinking much better than I ever could.

P.P.S. Tim Blair: “Interestingly, 10:10 – the organisation responsible – was founded by Franny Armstrong, director of enviro-panic film The Age of Stupid. How stupid is it to launch a campaign that has to be abandoned within 24 hours?”
