Santorum opens Iowa PAC

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum announced this morning that he’s opened a political action committee aimed at donating at least $25,000 to GOP Iowa candidates this fall.

Santorum has acknowledged that he’s thinking about running for president in 2012. This is another step toward that end. He’ll make his sixth Iowa trip Oct. 13 and 14, with stops in eastern Iowa.
