A Louisiana professor says he is being wrongly targeted by conservative bloggers who released video excerpts of a lecture on climate change.
A conservative student group called CampusReform.org has circulated video online of the professor telling students who don’t believe in taking steps to end global warming that “blood will be your hands.” The video shows less than two minutes of a nearly hour-long lecture at Louisiana State University.
Astronomy professor Bradley Schaefer said Wednesday he was provoking discussion about climate change and gave equal criticism to students with other points of view. Schaefer says he wasn’t marginalizing global warming skeptics.
It’s a good thing the AP pointed out that it’s a conservative group that put this out. Otherwise it might mean something! Well, if this guy was only playing the part of a global warming kook, he did a great job. Maybe he should move over to the theater department.
