Lest we forget how hard it is to be a high-ranking member of the Washington establishment, Connecticut Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd’s office helpfully tweeted “U love torturing me with this shit” from the Democrat’s verified personal account earlier today. While both the identity of “U” and the issue referred to as “shit” remain unknown at this time, it seems safe to say the staffer in charge of the senator’s tweets will be having a rough afternoon. Dodd’s office quickly issued an apology and deleted the tweet – but not before it was re-tweeted by several of his online followers.
Dodd’s staff could not immediately be reached for comment.
