Chuck Todd takes a shot at Sarah Palin?

Maybe NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd is a big wrestling fan, or perhaps he’s like some people in the media that seem agitated by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

On MSNBC’s Tuesday broadcast of “The Daily Rundown,” Todd pointed out that on Jan. 4, 1999, Reform Party election-winner Jesse Ventura was sworn in as governor of Minnesota.

“On this date in 1999, former pro wrestler Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura is sworn in as governor of Minnesota,” Todd said.

However, Todd also made a point to mention that Ventura served his entire term.

“The Reform Party candidate would go on to serve only one term in office but he did serve his entire four years,” he added. “Not all governors do that.”

It’s not completely obvious who Todd was referring to when he said “not all governors,” but it’s possible he could have been referring to Palin – a frequent target of MSNBC’s on-air talent. You be the judge.

What Todd didn’t deem important to note about Ventura is his dabbling in 9/11 truther-ism – the idea that the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center was a result of a government conspiracy.

I like Chuck but the big question is who’s banging Savanah?

  • ldrider51

Chuck Todd is a eunuch. Who cares what he says?

  • loudog

Why is speaking a truth “taking a shot”. Why all the complaints about investigating Palin as Governor when the new Republican majority continuously calls for 2 years of investigating the last 2 yrs of Obama?

  • riseabove

For two years we’ve been called racists by Liberals for criticizing Obama. So, according to their own reasoning, anyone who criticizes Palin must be sexist, right? Wouldn’t that make sense? They just don’t like her because she’s a woman. Right, Libs?

This means Equal Rights, Civil Rights and Human Rights organizations like the AERA and NOW, etc., should be up in arms about all these personal attacks on Palin simply for being a woman.

    Ok, so we’re waiting…..annnnnnnnnd we’re waiting….(tapping foot)…..and we’re still waiting…(yawn)….yup, still waiting….(snore)….annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd….nothing. Nada. Not a whisper.

What are you rising above, riseabove?

What a whiny, sad post. Chuck Todd referred to the fact that Palin didn’t complete her term as governor, because she didn’t complete her term as governor. Making that into “sexism” is ridiculous.

The DailyCaller puts up these Sarah-lover-baiting articles almost daily to pander for their hits and comments and you guys fall for it EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is a non-story. Grow up and “riseabove.”

  • diamndgirl

Who cares about any of this.

msnbe is a nutcase network and Palin is burnt toast by her own making.

  • tightloops

The obvious planned attack and talking points against Palin are never ending. They must really be afraid of something. Could’nt be that every working class voter can’t wait for her to announce. This is the newest silent majority. Romney really needs to pack it up. Go start another company……..not another Romney run , no more. This is not Ground Hog Day, please stop running!

    HMMMMHMMMMHMMMM!!!!!
Another lightweight shoots for Sarah’s ankles and succeeds in hitting himself in the nards.
