Gawker reports that in spite of (or perhaps as a result of) all the shock surrounding Ricky Gervais’ cutting commentary while hosting the Golden Globes two years in a row, he’s being asked to take a third swing at the gig. Organizers of the controversial awards show are said to have invited British comedian Gervais back to host for the third straight year.
