Reuters is reporting that the House of Representatives will vote next week to block funds for the health care overhaul.

According to Reuters, the vote will come with consideration of a budget plan.

Since all spending bills must originate in the House, the near certainty of this measure’s passage sets up a must-watch struggle with the Democratic-controlled Senate.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia confirmed the upcoming vote Tuesday.

In a press conference Cantor said, “I expect to see one way or other the product coming out of the House to speak to that and to preclude any funding to be used for that.”
