(Via JWF and Hot Air) A port official has admitted that a “weapon of mass effect”  has been found by “partner agencies” in the U.S., raising major questions over a possible government cover-up.

The disturbing revelation came in an interview with San Diego’s assistant port director screened by a television channel in the city.

The Customs and Border Protection Department tried to dampen speculation over his remarks, but doubts remained over whether he had inadvertently revealed a dirty bomb plot to attack the U.S. mainland.

I just have one question, What did the government do with the devise?

Oh, that’s right no paper work means I must have miss spoken.

It wouldn’t surprize me if them Idoits set it off “by mistake”.

of course there is a cover up here…

and apparently, a lack of preparation: “A year ago, the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism said the U.S. government should be doing more to prevent the nuclear threat.

Work to improve the nation’s response to biological attacks and efforts to reform intelligence gathering and other aspects of homeland security all received an ‘F’ on the report.”

Are you telling me that I am the first to post a comment on this story? Where is the outcry? A customs officer admits to a weapon of mass effect has been found by partner agencies and no one cares enough to post?

    God help us all!

It would not be surprising. But it does show the resolve of these people and the urgency of getting Iran’s and North Korea’s nuclear programs in check as well as keeping a vigilant eye on Pakistan.
