“The Kids Are All Right” actress, Julianne Moore will portray former vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin in HBO’s upcoming film, “Game Change,” reports The Wrap.

The movie, which will be directed by Jay Roach, is an adaptation of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book about the 2008 presidential election.

Roach also directed the 2008 HBO made-for-TV movie “Recount,” which was inspired by the 2000 presidential election. Roach hired the same writer, Danny Strong, to pen the “Game Change” script.

There are currently no reports on who will play President Barack Obama or former presidential candidate, John McCain.

Moore, who has been nominated for four Oscars, will star alongside Robert DeNiro in the 2012 film, “Another BullSh– Night in Suck City.”

According to the Internet Movie Database, “Game Change” does not yet have an official release date, but will be released in 2011.
