Tiger Woods is now available on cell phones everywhere … again.

This time, instead of leaving desperate voicemails for cocktail waitresses, he’s selling an app to help the game of those who aspire to reach his level. Golf game, that is.

As Woods tries to straighten out his life, his $10 app will help tech-savvy golfers straighten out their swing. Tiger Woods: My Swing allows users to record video of their golf swing and compare it with one of 24 swings by Woods, analyzing angle and club choice. It also offers tips from the famous golfer, reminding users of proper technique.

Simple video shooting and basic editing ensure ease of use, although the side-by-side comparison to Woods may frustrate golfers who have no hope of matching his prolific career.

Shotzoom, the developer that designed the app, said Woods frequently uses technology to hone his game. Company President Craig Pritchard said Woods approached Apple with the idea to combine mobile video with the line drawings he uses to analyze his swing on his home system. Apple brought Woods and Shotzoom together, creating the app that formally launched today at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

No word on whether Elin Nordegren is planning an app to improve SUV clubbing form.
