On Thursday, Vanity Fair’s Bruce Handy revealed that he had successfully demystified one of Donald Trump’s most curious traits: his hair.
Even though Handy once sat just feet away from the real-estate mogul and likely 2012 presidential candidate, he was unable to figure out the secret to his famous mane. It wasn’t until he studied a photo in a blog entry by fellow Vanity Fair contributor, Juli Weiner, that he discovered the technique.
“Thanks to the miracle of harsh lighting, the photo appears to reveal one of Trump’s most tightly held secrets,” Handy wrote. “Look closely. See the cross-hatching in Trump’s hair? My baldly stated thesis: This could be evidence of a rarely-sighted, possibly unprecedented ‘double comb-over.’”
