Paul Ryan is disappointed in Obama, having expected better for some reason

YouTube Preview Image

(Courtesy of Gateway Pundit) Of course, Ryan is only saying this because he hates America. He also hates poor people and your grandma. Plus, he wouldn’t be demanding honesty and specifics if Obama were white.

Other America-hating, elderly-murdering racists who hate Obama because he’s better than them:

  • The Wall Street Journal: “The immediate political goal was to inoculate the White House from criticism that it is not serious about the fiscal crisis, after ignoring its own deficit commission last year and tossing off a $3.73 trillion budget in February that increased spending amid a record deficit of $1.65 trillion… Mr. Obama did not deign to propose an alternative to rival Mr. Ryan’s plan, even as he categorically rejected all its reform ideas, repeatedly vilifying them as essentially un-American… The speech he chose to deliver was dishonest even by modern political standards.”
  • Charles Krauthammer: “I thought it was a disgrace. I rarely heard a speech by a president so shallow, so hyper-partisan and so intellectually dishonest, outside the last couple of weeks of a presidential election where you are allowed to call your opponent anything short of a traitor.”
  • Powerline: “Barack Obama is not a serious man, and the speech he gave today did not outline a serious proposal to deal with the country’s debt crisis.”
  • Nick Kristof: “Raise America’s Taxes.” (Whoops, how did that get in there? He’s one of the good guys!)
  • Roger L. Simon: “Barack Obama has become the most tedious president in my lifetime. He is like those college professors whose classes you did everything you could to avoid but, if you had to go, sat as far back as possible in order to get a little shut-eye yourself.”
  • Jim Geraghty: “Obama, Spending Three Times as Fast as Bush, Blames Bush.”

That’s just a taste of the racism and… and racism that marks the evil conservative reaction to Obama’s historic speech. Did I mention that Paul Ryan is standing over your grandma, laughing as she dies on the kitchen floor clutching a licked-clean tin of cat food?

P.S. Ryan talks to Mark Levin, saying Obama is “a pyromaniac in a field of straw men.”

Also. I saw in the Geraghty article that in his speech Obama said, “reduce spending in the tax code.” Which Geraghty points out is a very Orwellian way of saying “raise taxes”. I then saw that Obama continued on that thought, “In December, I agreed to extend the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans because it was the only way I could prevent a tax hike on middle-class Americans.”

He directly condradicted his talking point against the top tax rates in the exact same sentence. Keep top tax rates the same is a tax cut, keeping lower tax rates the same is preventing a tax hike. It’s a shame Reagan (zombie or otherwise) isn’t President now, because Obama would have fit in so much better in 1984 (get it?). The contradiction was in the exact same sentence. Most politicians at least give you a few paragraph buffer.

Ryan speaks about taxation and federal bureaucracy grinding the American economy down by 2035, this may be true but that line of argument is not compelling enough for people to change party affiliation.

For decades we’ve heard the exact same argument regarding social security and its still here, sure its a house of cards, a zombie bureaucracy shambling along doling out payments – and thats the rub – its still operating as it always has.

Old school communists used booze and easy women as lures to attract male union members – what have we got? Powerpoint graphs and Paul Ryan? We are truly eff’d.

I see that he didn’t use “Draconian” to describe Ryan’s budget plan. I guess that word is now out. It’s so March 2011.

What do you think of this video of Representative Paul Ryan discussing his medicare voucher reform proposal, the White House’s lack of bipartisanship efforts, the debt commission report and today’s House vote on tax cuts, etc (12/10): http://f4a.tv/gSo1b3

  • jmk1502

Did Paul Ryan and John Boehner have a good cry together afterward? And then, figure out the budget that would best try and screw the bottom 98% of Americans, and help the top 2%? Because that is certainly what the US needs.

    • Jim Treacher

      That’s probably what happened, yes.

  • jmk1502

Great speech by Obama. Tell those right-wing, stubborn, pig-headed loons to go fly a kite. Here’s a quick way to slash the budget: drastically reduce the $681 billion defense budget, since the “defense” budget is actually the “offense” budget, the offense so we can invade foreign nations for their raw materials and natural resources, and then make the stupid assertion that we are “spreading freedom and democracy”. Are Americans really that stupid?

    • Jim Treacher

      Well said, comrade.

    • partymanrandy

If we follow his step by step plan to reduce spending, we can’t lose.

“I’m going to ask somebody to find waste in the defense budget” and “I’m going to ask these people to find waste in Medicare.”

Why didn’t someone think of this sooner!

    • zelda

Why stop at the drastic reduction? Eliminate the entire defense budget. Then what? That doesn’t even eliminate this year’s deficit and Obama has engaged the military in Libya with no plan of any kind.

  • partymanrandy

Also, did someone say grandma eating cat food?

    • dougv

Actually, partyman, the quality of catfood is so much better than the stuff that granny had to eat back in the 80s when Reagan made the elderly eat catfood. Iams, Nutro, Blue Buffalo – all excellent choices. I’m not sure how granny got by with just Purina and Meow Mix back then.

  • partymanrandy

I like how Obama said,“Politicians are often eager to feed the impression that solving the problem is just a matter of eliminating waste and abuse -that tackling the deficit issue won’t require tough choices.”

And then immediately went on to explain how we could pay off our debt by eliminating waste and abuse and not making any tough choices. I was thinking, “The guy who spoke before him isn’t going to like this….Oh, it was the same guy?”

  • jackw3526

My grandmother thinks Obama is such a nice looking young man. “articulate and bright and clean”, she says. He wouldn’t let her die on the kitchen floor, holding an empty can of cat food! Evil Paul Ryan!

    • Alaskan

Tell your grandmother that “once you go progressive, the government spending gets excessive.”

      • The_anniebanannie

Tell grandma that the government that dishes out the cat food can also take the cat food away.
