Donald Trump’s political ‘pit bull’: Meet Michael Cohen

The man behind Donald Trump’s possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.

Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump’s chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

This election cycle is different. Late last year, Cohen co-founded the draft Trump website “Should Trump Run?” It has received more than 830,000 hits.

Cohen, 44, is known around the office — and around New York — as Trump’s “pit bull.”

Everything about Trump screams Democrat. An absolute fact is only Demo’s have been bring up the “birther” issue, not the conservative base and definitely not the Tea Party. Obama and his minions still believe they can belittle anyone on the right if they even think “birth certificate”. After all, they totally lost the “rascist” war,

When and if he starts pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into Repub or Libertarians coffers I might but doubt will believe him.

Nope, there’s something there not to be trusted.

  • aposematic

The Tea Party is so desperate for anyone with a spine to show themselves that they apparently are willing to accept an imposter famous only for self promotion. Reminds me of Obama in the 2008 Media/Press duping of the Democrat voters, only this time its the Republican voters being duped by the Media/Press. Will…er, can…anyone in America ever think for themselves again…

Many fake Conservatives come to mind: Gingrich (always has a wet finger in the air; will never forget the AGW add with Pelosi on a park bench), Trump (the biggest self promoter of all time), Christie (loved for standing up to the teachers unions but it was solely out of fiscal necessity not ideology), Romney (uh, Romneycare for Mass.), Huckabee (a preacher very bad on social issues for just a start of all that’s wrong with him), and Daniels (another RINO forced for financially reasons to act but very bad on social issues) for just a few that are RINOs at best. Don’t let the Media/Press pick the GOP candidate for 2012; that didn’t work out so well in 2008…did it.

Trump is out when this season of Celebrity Apprentice is over and it has been renewed for next season. Nothing will ever come of his “investigation” in Hawaii. He’s all talk and spectacle and self-promotion.

    • GeniousIQ

People on the right are so desperate that they can’t remember further back than 2009. Trump has been doing this every presidential election for 10 years. But now we have the tea party idiots who actually take him seriously. Trump has had to go full retard this time to get them frenzied up with the birther stuff.

      • jackphat

I suggest you actually attend a Tea Party meeting and discover that what you hear on the news is nothing of what’s really happening within the Tea Party. Since you have no knowledge of the Tea Party YOU don’t have a clue.

        • clw

EXACTLY. The biggest critics/mis-representers of the TEA Party have never been to one. I have, and I know that it is an amazing collection of impressive Americans.

  • GeniousIQ

From Trump’s book, written in 2000:

“We must have universal healthcare,” wrote Trump. “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one. We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses.”

The goal of health care reform, wrote Trump, should be a system that looks a lot like Canada. “Doctors might be paid less than they are now, as is the case in Canada, but they would be able to treat more patients because of the reduction in their paperwork,” he writes.

The more reliable evidence and inferences therefrom are that Barry was born in Hawai’i to two U.S. citizens, and adopted by Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack Hussein Obama, whom he fraudulently claims as his birth parents, in order to pose as an African American.

Mr. Obama’s DNA and his vital records will prove that his claimed parents are not his birth parents; they are his adoptive parents.

Maybe somebody has found – by hook or crook, as FDR was found of saying – that the real issue in Hawai’i is election fraud. The vital records confirm eligibility at birth, but prove an election won under false pretenses of personal and racial identity. Have Trump’s aggressive and adroit investigators copied the vital records with wee spy cameras, and now have the truth, which Trump is forced to avoid disclosing by playing dumb? If so, it must gall him, for he’s really smart, as he would be the first to admit and the last to deny.

In any event, law enforcement authorities probably should obtain a search warrant for the vital records relied upon by Dr. Fukino, to find whether in fact Obama ran for office under false pretenses, claiming birth parents who are not his to claim a false racial heritage for meretricious and fraudulent political purposes.

Is it better to sit in the same spot, forever, waiting on change
    or
to get up, move your butt and go out and seek something more promising.

    Credit to Cohen-
he explained his motives, accessed them, admitted the mistake
and took action to redirect his energy & belief.
Wow…….imagine that, someone with enough character to see the light ?

Too bad, all the other stubborn saps, who are clinging to to the “Idiot King’s” robe,
don’t have the clarity and character to do the same.

Secretly, I think a lot of them are going to fall in line with Trump-
a person can only take so much.

To be a “GLUTTON for PUNISHMENT”, under Obama’s reign is unsustainable, not a pretty sight.
It sucks the livelihood out of a human being, leave alone a entire Country !

    Trump/West 2012

    • aposematic

Uh…Cohen, described as Trump’s bull dog, works for Trump–Trump pays him. He mysteriously is now a Trump for POTUS promoter…amazing change NOT!

  • buddy

Would not surprise me at all. A jewish liberal plotting to have Trump run as a “republican”. Let me guess, David Gergen will be his running mate?

They know Obama isn’t going to get more than 47% of the vote.

    • GeniousIQ

Put him against Trump, and Obama will get 60% of the vote. Put him against Palin and he’ll get 70%.

      • buddy

If Obama gets out of the democrat primary and runs against Palin he gets 47%, if he runs against Joe the Plumber he gets 47% if he runs against Trump he gets 47%. The only way that nag could win a race is if there are 3 candidates and that is why the democrats are paying Trump to run. If not Trump they will find someone else.

The only reason Obama gets 47% is because he will get 99% of the black vote, otherwise he would not break 40%.

Ask Jimmy Carter about how the american people feel about electing an incompetence divisive petty little man loser.

        • GeniousIQ

I don’t agree. I think that your number is probably about right if you assume all americans are voting – but you put someone like Palin or Trump on the republican side, many will abstain. Palin only polls around 50% approval rating among REPUBLICANS. People like her, Bachman, Trump, Santorum and the likes will assure an Obama victory. This is the exact situation we saw in Nevada – Angle was about the only opponent that was going to get Reid re-elected.

  • clw

    First impression: Opportunist.

Second Impression: Could be a legitimate change of heart after seeing that he was duped by the Obama promise of “hope and change” which didn’t mean a change in our crappy governmental processes, but a change to Socialism in America.

    • GeniousIQ

If you can’t see what Trump is doing, you’re a complete moron.

      • LoboTX

Ummm….someone probably beat me to this….
you got the “IQ” part right, but run spell check on the first part.

        • GeniousIQ

There is a sad lack of “getting” satire/sarcasm on the right.

          • LoboTX

            Yeah – right.

(FYI – the correct spelling isn’t taken as a nick yet, so all you’ve got to do is open a new account. Noone will bash you for it – honest mistake, typos happen, etc).

          • GeniousIQ

            LoboTX

            Yeah – right.

(FYI – the correct spelling isn’t taken as a nick yet, so all you’ve got to do is open a new account. Noone will bash you for it – honest mistake, typos happen, etc).

            ————-

I prefer letting people like you “correct” me. The ability to “get” sarcasm is a sign of higher intelligence. It helps me determine who is a moron and who isn’t.

          • riseabove

Oooohhhh, sarcasm! Oh, THAT’S what it is? Ahhh haa haa haaaa! Oh, you clever little rascal, you!

You had me going for a minute there! Why, I had no idea you were capable of such imaginative wit, Mr. IQ.

By all means, continue to intrigue us lowly, cerebral-challenged “morons” with your fascinating brilliance.

          • thephranc

Is it sarcasm when you pretend to be a phd in chemistry and a military man?

      • clw

Your assumption that I actually CARE about “what Trump is doing” shows that you ARE a complete moron.

IF Trump finds himself in a position to be running against Onama, I will vote for Trump. I would vote for ANYONE against Obama. ANYONE else would be to the right of him!

        YOU dear, are a moron.

        • pink

“I would vote for ANYONE against Obama” It’s brainlessness like this that nominates Sharon Angle and Christine O’Donnell. Why should anyone take you seriously?

          • GeniousIQ

Yup. And it’s thinking just like this that gets idiots like Reid re-elected or criminals like Rick Scott made governor of Florida. The tea party is making things worse. They’re so obsessed with Obama, abortion and other BS, they’re screwing people out of the primaries who are serious about getting real problems fixed.

          • riseabove

You have the nerve to say that after the nightmare your side gave us? Wow. Unbelievable.

I’d vote for Elmer Fudd against Obama. I’d walk to the voting place in a blizzard…..uphill….barefoot….with a stomach ache.

          • clw

I would reply with an intelligent response but it would be beneath me. Sorry.
