It’s a beautiful day in Washington. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and a malignant narcissist is getting his just desserts. There’s so much Weiner news, I gotta go to bulleted list form!
- Right off the bat, so to speak: O&A’s Anthony Cumia has posted what he claims is the “unreleased Anthony Weiner photo from Breitbart’s phone.” You know, the one Breitbart said he wouldn’t release because it’s too graphic. So much for that! WARNING: This link goes to a picture of a man’s genitals in a state of readiness. If you look at it, that means you’re now gay. Unless you’re gay already, in which case you will become super-gay. Ladies, you might not want to click on that unless you’re a blackjack dealer in Vegas.
- UPDATE: Gregg Hughes, AKA Opie from Opie & Anthony, has explained how Anthony got the pic of Weiner’s wiener. Hughes posted the explanation to Twitter (of course), so I’ve put it all the tweets together: “We had @AndrewBreitbart on the show today and we prodded him to see the ‘pic’ that was rumored to be out there. He finally passed his phone around to show a pic of @repweiner ‘s well ‘weiner’. I believe it was not @AndrewBreitbart‘s intention to get the pic out there at this time. As the phone made the rounds around the room to @jimnorton @anthonycumia and myself the picture was captured by a video camera that was on! I did try to take a pic of @AndrewBreitbart‘s phone but it came out blurry because @anthonycumia grabbed the phone. Wasn’t until @AndrewBreitbart left the studio that we realized what was captured on our video camera. #weinersweiner“

- NYT: “Three months before Representative Anthony D. Weiner sent a photo from his Twitter account to a 21-year-old Washington State college student named Gennette Cordova, a small group of determined, self-described conservatives were warning young women on Twitter, including Ms. Cordova, to be wary of him. Calling themselves the #bornfreecrew on Twitter, members of the group closely monitored those whom Mr. Weiner was following, taking it upon themselves to contact young women they believed to be ‘schoolgirls,’ and urging them publicly to stay away from him, according to an analysis of posts on Twitter’s public stream.” Remember: Protecting women from sexual predators is good… unless conservatives do it! So, okay, Weiner knew for months that these guys were paying attention to what he was doing, and he went ahead and did it anyway. Luckily for the rest of us, arrogance and stupidity go together like Weiners and morbid humiliation.
- Speaking of predators, can you name this quote? “Sadly, the Internet is the predator’s venue of choice today. We need to update our strategies and our laws to stop these offenders who are a mere click away from our children.” Can you guess? Go on. Guess!
- You know your side is in trouble when your voice of reason is… Ed Schultz? The libtalker, fresh from his suspension for calling a woman who disagreed with him a “slut,” told his guests Bill Press and Joan Walsh that they were “in denial” for continuing to blame this on conservatives. At least Walsh lamented her vociferous support of Weiner, saying, “I looked kind of stupid.” Well, she’s half-right!
- Fox Nation: “Rep. Anthony Weiner explained himself and apologized for his conduct to Bill Clinton, who officiated his wedding to wife Huma Abedin, sources familiar with the call said. Weiner made the call within the past 48 hours. It took place following his emotional press conference Monday in New York City, where he admitted that he had posted a lewd photo of himself to Twitter 10 days earlier, the sources said. It wasn’t immediately clear what was said on the call, but sources said that the Clintons – who are deeply loyal to Abedin – are distressed by the ‘sexting’ scandal that Weiner immersed his wife in.” I know, right?
- S.E. Cupp gets the last word for the moment: “There are plenty of good reasons to give Weiner the boot. He’s an admitted liar. He’s a cad. He’s a hypocrite. He has no respect for the integrity of his office. And he’s embarrassed his party and his constituents. But equally as offensive to me and all New Yorkers should be that Anthony Weiner is a moron. And that’s one thing we won’t tolerate.”
Update: Top Democrat calls on Anthony Weiner to resign. I hope not. Every day this just gets better and better!

Earlier today, a photograph resembling one that I had withheld from publication in the Weinergate saga was released without my knowledge or permission.
Prior to the publication of our story on BigGovernment.com and BigJournalism.com this past Monday morning, it was necessary to show the pictures I had received from our source to several news producers, including several at major news networks, to prove that the additional material I described really did exist, which some have continued to doubt.
This morning, I showed a photograph, which our source claims Weiner sent her, to radio hosts “Opie and Anthony” of the Sirius XM radio network on my mobile device. Somehow, without my knowledge or permission, apparently a picture was taken of my mobile device, and subsequently published by Opie (Gregg Hughes) on Twitter.
His co-host, Anthony (Anthony Cumia), stated today:
“In regards to the photo of Anthony Weiner that was leaked by members of The Opie And Anthony show on 6/8, I want to make it clear that Andrew Breitbart had no knowledge that this photo was being made public. A phone with the photo was being displayed and a camera in the studio caught it. It was then uploaded to twitter [sic], again, without Andrew Breitbarts [sic] knowledge.”
I regret that this occurred.
Update: Think it can’t get worse for Weiner? His wife Huma is pregnant. So now he’ll insist he can’t resign because he has to feed his growing family.
