The fallout from Rep. Anthony Weiner’s show-and-tell debacle has now gotten political. While the New York Democrat first had to withstand sabotage from himself, pundits, and eventually from leaders in his own party, Anthony’s Weiner is now fodder for political attack ads.

The group Ending Spending, formerly Taxpayers Against Earmarks, has put out a video lambasting the politicians who’ve been more focused on dalliances than dollar bills. Unlike some things in Congress, the video proves that sexual misbehavior is a bipartisan issue. The video somberly includes Weiner in the bad company of other political pervs: former Republican Sen. John Ensign; disgraced vice Presidential candidate John Edwards; and Republican Rep. Chris Lee, who resigned after his topless photos on Craigslist found their way to the top news stories (they always do).

The video ends with a heck of a zinger:

Next time, congressmen, please just show us your plan for ending spending
