Earlier this week, the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee released their 2012 honorees. The list includes a wide range of established actors and musicians both past and present, whose work will be forever immortalized with a brass star embedded in the sidewalks along fifteen famous blocks on Hollywood Boulevard.
Jennifer Aniston leads the pack of actors being honored this year. After a 10-year, Emmy-winning run on ‘Friends,’ and staring roles in dozens of films, it’s surprising it took Aniston this long to finally land a Star.
Kate Winslet is also being honored with a Star in 2012. The Academy Award-winning actress is extremely deserving of recognition after delivering numerous critically-acclaimed performances, both dramatic and comedic, for nearly twenty years.
Jennifer Lopez leads the pack of musicians this year. The singer/actress/fashion mogul has had tremendous success in each of her endeavors. As a recording artist, J.Lo has had nine albums on the ‘Billboard 200,’ and has received multiple awards and nominations throughout her career.
