Lindsay Lohan: I can’t afford court-ordered therapy

She’s graced the cover of dozens of magazines, but train-wreck actress Lindsay Lohan allegedly doesn’t have the funds for counseling.

According to People magazine, LiLo’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told a judge on Thursday that the 25-year-old natural redhead hasn’t been able to continue her court-ordered psychological treatment due to “financial issues.”

Judge Stephanie Sautner didn’t have any sympathy for the troubled A-lister, who paid a trip to the courtroom for a standard progress report. (Lindsay Lohan slams the Federal Reserve: ‘Fed keeps printing money!’)

“If she doesn’t have the means [to pay for the required psychological services], she’s got to find someone to help her out,” Sautner said at the hearing.

Considering one of Lohan’s recent tweets, it’s no surprise that she has alleged money problems. Last month, the “Georgia Rule” star published a sponsored tweet about her concerns with skyrocketing food and gas prices.

“Have you guys seen food and gas prices lately? U.S. $ will soon be worthless if the Fed keeps printing money!” Lohan tweeted.

LiLo had spent a little more than a month in house arrest at her southern California townhouse for pleading no contest to misdemeanor jewelry theft.

Seriously Ms. Lohan, if you happen to read this, I would phone Franklin Graham and ask for a recommendation for free Christian counseling, which is what you require and not Freudian high priced couch sitting.

Have your attorney petition the court for redress on your First Amendment rights of religion, and go this route sincerely, as your past choices brought problems.

The Judge ordered you to find help, so you find not monetary help, but the treatment of the entire person as is undertaken in British physical and psychiatric practices.

Ms. Lohan you know this country is screwed up, far more than Obama voters. That puts you ahead of the game. You just need some guidance so you stop destroying what God is building.

On the other hand, Ms. Lohan, I know a way you could make at least 25K in one short night’s work. And with your apparent lack of moral turpitude, this should be easy money.

Are you by chance suggesting that she could make that much while on her back?

          Back. Standing. Trapeze swing. Whatever.

I have a few friends who are Hollywood types and I am always amazed at how little they actually make. The big starts, yeah, its hard to blow that much, but possible, but the marginal stars and TV people really aren’t as rich as everyone thinks. When you look at taxes in CA (state and Fed) you lose almost half off the top. Agents, publicists, make-up, wardrobe, limos, it just goes. I had a call a few months ago from a friend who was a well known star of an iconic TV show asking for a loan or he was going to lose his home. The sad part is, like pro athletes, they think the money will last forever.

She made quite a lot of money since her early teens. She’s managed to blow all of it on booze, parties, jet travel, and well, blow. Plus, lately, legal fees. Yes, she had lots of legitimate business expenses too. But top-level stars also get an astounding amount of stuff for free, and I’m not just talking about $80,000 gift bags at the awards shows. At the Sundance festival, stars get everything from $1000 sunglasses to complete sets of skis and bindings and ski wardrobes just for letting the company take the stars picture with the product. That doesn’t mean the company can then run ads with the picture–that’s a whole nother ballgame. But they can slip the shot to some gossip site who will run their “exclusive.”

Then there’s the paid appearances at clubs and resorts. Lohan used to get up to $50,000 just to be seen at trendy clubs in Las Vegas, and she wasn’t paying for the hotel or private jet to get there, either.

All that, and the film world’s top directors sought her out. She was always a pain in the ass, but they thought her talent was worth the hassle. Now she can’t even get bonded, and without a completion bond, she can’t work.

Maybe she should sell that condo or that car, and move in with a roommate.

She could always go back to jail. Oh, wait she’s never been to jail.
