Nobody wants to adopt Hitler cat

Cat life can be challenging, especially if you look like Hilter on top of battling dogs, chasing mice, and dodging less-than-gentle children.

Kitler, a six-week old feline in England, remains unwanted at the Wood Green Animal Shelter for having a black fur patch under her nose that resembles Adolf Hitler’s signature mustache. (PICTURES: All dogs go to Heaven: Legendary late pooches [SLIDESHOW])

According to The Telegraph, staffers at the furry friends orphanage claim Kitler’s eerie appearance has turned off potential owners from adopting her. The employees say these folks are missing out on a lovely cat.

“Kitler is an adorable little girl who will make a wonderful addition to the right family,” spokeswoman Tara Dundon told The Telegraph. “She is really playful and a typical sweet kitten. We rehome five and a half thousand animals every year but we cannot find a loving owner for Kitler. We think her unusual markings are putting people off.”

Dundon went on to say that Kitler is not of a particular breed, adding that the shelter can’t explain her odd markings because the kitty’s parents are unknown.

Kitler was discovered all by herself and near death on the side of a road near Kempston, Bedfordshire, late last month. Of the hundreds of people that have visited Wood Green in search of a pet, none has expressed an interest in little Kitler.
