U.S. stock futures were little changed, after a four-day advance for the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index, as investors looked for further progress from Europe on controlling its debt crisis.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM), the maker of the BlackBerry smartphone, tumbled 23 percent as its earnings report disappointed investors for the third consecutive quarter. Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE), the maker of graphic-design software, fell 2.2 percent after being downgraded at JMP Securities LLC. Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) rose 0.9 percent as the largest maker of analog chips boosted its quarterly dividend 31 percent.

S&P 500 futures expiring in December dropped 0.1 percent to 1,202.60 at 9:02 a.m. New York time. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slid 12 points, or 0.1 percent, to 11,363 today.
