Jennifer Aniston, the underdog of Hollywood relationships, sticks up for the little guy when necessary.
The “Horrible Bosses” comedienne, who starred in the popular 90s sitcom “Friends” and has held a steady acting career for more than a decade, recently opened up to Elle magazine about an instance in which she chucked a piece of furniture at a director for mistreating one of his inferiors.
“I threw a chair at a director,” the 42-year-old told the publication. “It wasn’t my proudest moment…He was treating a script supervisor horribly…When the director walked in, I threw a chair at him. Whether or not Aniston has had more violent bouts of rage, she understands what it’s like to be humiliated by others. In 2005, the California girl had a highly publicized divorce with husband of seven years, Brad Pitt, whom many speculated had been unfaithful to his wife with “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-star Angelina Jolie onset of the action movie. Pitt went on to conceive three children with Jolie and publicly express his intense feelings for the sultry brunette.
“One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom,” Pitt said in a recent interview with Parade magazine. “She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”
In that same chat, Pitt implied that his union to Aniston was dull, the latest in a history of shots at his ex-spouse.
“I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it — trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
