Ruth Madoff could be lying about her claim that she and Bernie Madoff tried to kill themselves, their former security guard has said.
Nick Casale said he was in the couple’s home on the night they supposedly attempted an overdose and everything seemed normal.
The claims come as Bernie Madoff has revealed that he was forced to ‘let… go’ of his wife almost a year ago and is wracked by ‘horrible nightmares’ as he serves his 150-year prison sentence.
