Newt Gingrich is out swinging with a new web ad dubbed, “For The Dogs.” The soon-to-be released ad highlights some of Romney’s most humorous verbal gaffes — an obvious attempt to poke holes in the notion of Mitt Romney’s electability.

It features clips of some of Romney’s not-so-greatest moments, including greatest hits like:

“I like being able to fire people…”

“Corporations are people.”

“I’m running for president for pete’s sake, I can’t have illegals.”

“10,000 bet?”

“Small varmints, if you will.”

And who could forget classics like …

“This is a completely air-tight kennel, mounted on the top of our car…it was where he was comfortable.”

“Who let the dogs out?”

… The ad’s ultimate message? “Imagine what Obama would do with a candidate like this.”
