Katy Perry is on board the Tim Tebow train.
The newly single star, fresh from her split from Russell Brand, reportedly has her eyes set on the devout Denver Broncos quarterback.
OK! Magazine reports that the singer’s parents, who are both pastors, think Tebow is more her speed.
“[Katy’s] mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim,” the source claims. “Katy’s mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again…In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian.”
Perry’s Christian upbringing supposedly caused tension in her marriage to Brand, a former heroin and sex addict. The comedian thought the “I Kissed A Girl” singer wasn’t kinky enough in bed, which led to the demise of their union. (RELATED: Katy isn’t kinky enough)
Katy and Tim will reportedly meet for the first time at the church where Perry’s parents are ministers.
This would be quite the change for the “E.T.” singer. We think she might be a little disappointed in Tebow, who has said he plans to remain a virgin until marriage.
Maybe someone should tell Katy that “Tebowing” isn’t a sexual position.
