Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney holds a seven-point lead over former House Speaker Newt Gingrich just two days before the Florida primary, according to Public Policy Polling’s daily tracking poll.

The poll, taken Sunday, has Romney at 39 percent followed by Gingrich at 32 percent. Former Pennyslvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Texas Rep. Ron Paul trail with 14 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

PPP has been tracking Republican voters daily since Saturday, and will do so again Monday. There has been minimal change in the numbers during the past week: Romney and Santorum each lost a point, Paul gained 2 points, and Gingrich’s numbers remain unchanged. Eighty-one percent of Florida voters now say they are strongly committed to the candidates of their choosing.

Other polls have shown Romney with an even stronger lead in Florida. A Rasmussen poll has Romney up 16 percentage points over Gingrich, 44 percent to 28 percent.
